inos and buffalos are two African animals renowned for their size and aggression. Generally, they are indifferent to each other, but they can both be unpredictably aggressive when threatened.
When a rhino and a buffalo go head-to-head, an earth-shaking encounter erupts…
Cape buffalos have the build of a cow, but the disposition and power of an angry bull. They range from 3.3-5.6 ft (1-1.7 m) in height and 5.6-11.2 ft (1.7-3.4 m) long. They can weigh up to 2,000 lbs (900 kg) and are characterized by a peculiar horn with a fused base called a ‘boss’. Rhinoceroses are known for their tank-like build, with some specimens weighing up to over 3,100 lbs. With this size advantage over the buffalo, it’s no surprise that the rhino is able to overpower the bull.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen these two enormous beasts go at it…
